New Year, New Goals

2013 gave me the opportunity to win multiple 5K's, finish my first ultra marathon, and even beat my marathon record by over 39 minutes. But the best thing 2013 gave me in my running life was doing a marathon with my brother. He is not a running enthusiast like me but he has been enjoying a lot more. When I finish my first marathon I didn't want to think about running ever again. My brother finished his first marathon and he wanted to know which one we are doing next, so I'm pretty sure the running bug has hit him.

My goals for 2014 is to do a sub 18:30 5k, sub 40 10k, sub 1:30 half marathon, and a sub 3:30 marathon. I want to do another 50k but i don't think it will fit into my schedule. This year I would like to pick up my speed instead of my ability to run long distances.
