Day #2


            Went on my second run today for only 25 minutes, but it’s a great improvement. Tomorrow I’m going to take the day off because I need to take it slow and my knee and ankle did bother a little bit afterwards. I’ll update this weekend with any changes.

I Can Run...


…On grass!!! I had my appointment this morning with Dr. Brown and he said the kneed is almost heal and that I’m allowed to take it easy and mostly run on grass. So today I unpacked my running bags and did a very easy 3 mile run and some exercises in between. I already planned the whole month of July to be my “Injury Recovery Month” with a lot of cross training and no mile counting into August.

Injury Update



            I have been very busy lately with moving and starting a new job so I have put this blog away until now. A little update on my injury, I have a stress fracture and torn tissue in my ITB. Have done a total of about 5 miles in the last month and half and tomorrow morning I have a check up appointment with my doctor. He said that its okay for me to start biking in July and hopefully start running in less than 4 weeks.
            I’ll update sometime this week on what he said.
