Its killing me, the waiting game is making me want to cut my right leg off. I haven’t been able to go in a training run for over a month and have stopped racing for the last 2 weeks. My doctors appointment is all the way at the end of May which will probably not allow me to run the Arlington half marathon but I rather be healthy for marathon season at the end of the year.
I have been doing a lot of upper body weight lifting and a little bit of biking but the pain is still there. Very upsetting.
A must have item for runners is a foam roller, it has helped me with my IT band tissue tear. The website posted bellow shows some exercises to help you out. Do them before and after working out for just 10-20 seconds.
